We normally race once or twice a month, with the additional opportunity to compete for the club in County and National championship races.
You will need a club vest to enter a league or championship race, they are available from Trevor & Jill Jex, cost £15 it may also be helpful to have a pair of studded shoes.
As a club we always encourage members to take part in these race, the standard varies between the elite though to the more “fun” runners, nobody should feel they are not good enough to represent our club.

Cross country can be great fun plus a personal challenge, where you take on difficult terrain, mud and hills, in often wintry conditions.
It's also a great base for road racing and overall fitness, enhancing your strength and stamina.
