Trent Park Running Club are pleased to be supporting the 2008 Furzefield Triathlon.

The Furzefield Triathlon will take place on Sunday 11th May 2008 at the Furzefield Centre, Mutton Lane, Potters Bar, Herts., EN6 3BW.
The event is being run in collaboration with Cherry Lodge Cancer Care and sponsored by Nautilus Fitness Equipment, all profits will be donated to charity.

The distances are:- 400m pool swim. The swim will consist of 12 lengths of the 33m pool divided into 6 lanes, competitors will swim two lengths in each lane.
- 20K bike. The bike route will follow the original Furzefield bike course with a small deviation to avoid the dual roundabout at junction 22 of the M25.

Please note, the bike route does NOT use the A1M, it travels along Swanland Road which is parallel to the motorway!
- 5K run. The 5K run will be mostly along pavements and footpaths and be a single 5K loop.

You can enter as an individual or a team of three. In the team event each competitor will complete the entire course, the fastest time in each discipline will count towards the team result.

The entry fee is £28 for an individual British Triathlon federation member, £32 for non-members to include race indemnity insurance.
Team entry fees are £84 and £96 respectively, all participants must be BTF members to qualify for the reduced entry fee.
