The clubhouse is situated behind the Royal Forest Hotel, Rangers Road, Chingford, E4.
The meeting point is shown by the red circle.
The 313 bus from Enfield terminates at Chingford Station. Trains from Liverpool Street every 15 minutes, PLUS a ten minute walk from the station.
No parking is allowed in the Royal Forest Hotel car park out of courtesy to the pub management. Early arrivals (up to 30 cars) can park opposite the Queen Elizabeth Hunting Lodge on Rangers Road. The majority of drivers are asked to park at the large car park on Bury Road adjacent to Chingford Plain.

Please note, the race starts at 7.45, please allow plenty of time to get to the start line.
You must wear your club vest and will be given a number for all races in the series (see Malcolm) - please bring some safety pins, there will also be some spare vests.
Normal road shoes should be fine due to the diverse surfaces.
We always welcome everybody to run in these races; we do need as many of you as possible to run so that we can regain our place in Division 1 next season.

The course distance is approximate 6.7 miles runners are advised that Garmins are often unreliable within Epping Forest.
There will be mile-markers, suitably-placed arrows and marshals at critical junctions. Care, as always, is needed on the roads, and runners are alerted to the possibility of horse-riders at all times and are asked to keep a wide berth.
Due to Orion altering their club house there will be no changing facilities or showers, but toilets should be available Post-race refreshments will be available in the vicinity of the clubhouse.
