Triathlon
Trent Park Running Club has a small but growing Triathlon section. We are affiliated to British Triathlon and a member of the London Region.
We have a wide range of experience from novice to GB Age Group team, juniors as well as adults and our members take part in all standards of races from Super-Sprint to Long Distance (Ironman™)
 Start of the TPRC Aquathlon
We also organise an Aquathlon in July each year, this is free but open to members and their families only. We are a running based club and use the coaching and run training facilites of TPRC. We also have swim and bike training sessions organised on an informal basis by individual members. In the warmer months we also have club sponsored open water training sessions. See our Triathlon Training page for more details.
| There is no additional membership fee for the Triathlon section but we do insist that anyone taking part in our training sessions complies with appropriate safety standards, i.e. an approved bike helmet, wet suit in open water and a roadworthy bike, if you have any doubt, please check the British Triathlon guidelines.

We meet early in the new year to agree on a core set of races that will form the basis of the TPRC Tri Challenge and where you will be able to compete alongside other members of the club.
The final standings in the 2009 Tri Challenge can be viewed here, 2010 results will be available after the first event.
The races for 2010 are:
Pete and Sue at the 2004 Worlds in Madeira.
 The 2002 Windsor team
To enter any of the above races use the links provided to obtain more information and an on-line entry form.
A modified method of calculating points has been suggested for 2010.
The TPRC Aquathlon results offset the calculations by a disproportionate amount, someone can earn over 20 points from this event but only 3 or 4 from some other less well attended event.
Therefore for 2010 the TPRC Aquathlon will be a "must do" event, you must enter (or provide evidence of a compelling reason why you cannot - cold water is not an excuse!) to stand a chance of winning a trophy.
Points will be awarded according to your position in your gender/age group - U35, 35-44, 45-54, 55-99.
Points for all other races will be awarded as in 2009, maximum points to the first TPRC finisher down to one point for the last TPRC finisher.
